Ukraine Sinks Russian Barge Carrying Weapons, Takes Control Of Oskil River, HIMARS Repair Plant Hit

Ukraine has reportedly recaptured its first village in Luhansk, a region that Russian forces captured in early July. Luhansk Governor, Serhiy Haidai, claims Ukrainian forces have regained complete control of the village of Bilohorivka in Luhansk. Ukrainian forces claim to have sunk a Russian military barge on Dnipro River in Kherson Oblast on September 19. Ukraine has reportedly retaken control of both the banks of the Oskil River in the Kharkiv region.

The Russian Defence Ministry claims to have destroyed a Ukrainian facility being used to repair the US-supplied HIMARS rocket systems. Russian proxies in the Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts have demanded immediate ‘referendums’ to join Russia. According to a CNN report, a senior US military official said that the US may provide tanks to Ukraine.
