Why baby turtle release is not quite often? #shorts
Published at : October 02, 2022
During the 2 years of the pandemic erosion in Kuta beach has gotten worse. The erosion has impacted the number of sea turtle nests we found and rescued.
Compared to 2019, before pandemic, the number of nests has decreased significantly. The total number of nests rescued so far in 2022 has decreased by 54% when compared to the 2019 nest numbers. This is why the baby sea turtle release events are not held as often compared to before pandemic.
Prior to a baby sea turtle release, we will post an update on our social media. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our sea turtle conservation project.
